Armani announces new fur-free policy

In a major victory for animals, fashion powerhouse Armani has announced a new fur-free policy.

“I am pleased to announce that the Armani Group has made a firm commitment to abolish the use of animal fur in its collections,” said Giorgio Armani in a statement released in the social responsibility section of his website. “Technological progress made over the years allows us to have valid alternatives at our disposal that render the use of cruel practices unnecessary.”

The decision has been celebrated worldwide, and the impact on the lives of millions of animals around the world is almost incalculable.

“My company is now taking a major step ahead, reflecting our attention to the critical issues of protecting and caring for the environment and animals,” Armani said.

Join The Fur-Bearers in celebrating this decision – and continuing with others the compassionate conversation that led Armani to their new path.
