3 ways to fight fur using social media

Don’t have much time or money to help the animals as much as you would like? No problem. You can make a huge difference for fur-bearing animals by never leaving your favourite chair. Social media makes it simple. Here are 3 ways you can make social media work for the animals.

1. Share videos and photos through your social networks to expose the cruel fur trade.
Check out our resources page for photos and videos of animals in traps. If you are looking for something less graphic, consider sharing one of our anti-fur ads.

2. Always comment on media stories, magazine articles and celebrity news. See something online about fur-bearing animals or the fur industry, leave a comment! Let them know what you think and share these articles with us.

3. Tweet and Facebook companies who sell fur and fur trim. Tell them publicly that you won’t buy while the animals die. Ask them to become a fur-free retailer. You can also use your creativity and hold a cyber-protest or “sit in”.
