Thank you everyone for your comments, letters, and phone calls to the City of Cambridge (Ontario). We have been informed that only one coyote was removed (and possibly relocated) and that the traps have been removed from the site. We are in the process of verifying this information and intend to continue asking questions of the city and will provide updates as they’re possible.

Fewest black bears killed by BC COS in 10+ years
Data suggests 303 black bears killed is a 49.7% drop from previous year, though much work remains to be done.
