Episode 208: The times they are a changin’

Defender Radio podcast
It gets frustrating for us animal lovers – the apparent lack of change, the ongoing suffering. But the times, they really are a changing.

This week we’re talking with two people involved in the process of change.

Earlier this year, APFA got to work with Insights West to poll Canadian households and find out what they thought about fur. We released some of this data with our #MakeFurHistory campaign last month and more with our Christmas shopping advisory last week. Mario Canseco, a VP at Insights West, joined us recently to explain what the numbers mean, and what path they’re showing us for our work.

In her work with Animal Justice, Camille Labchuk has helped to develop and launch the Animal Charter of Rights and Freedom. To discuss what this charter is, what it could mean and how we can all help make it a reality, Camille joined Defender Radio.
