First autumn Ottawa fur-free outreach event a success

The first round of fur-free campus outreach for 2014 in Ottawa was a wonderful success!

Our friend Tyler Jamieson, co-organizerShannon Milling, and their community partners were on campus at University of Ottawa on October 18, talking with hundreds of students and handing out campaign information from The Association for the Protection of Fur-Bearing Animals.

This is the second year Tyler has organized fur-free campus outreach in Ottawa, and he has more events planned for 2014. We strongly encourage anyone interested in providing peaceful, polite conversation to encourage students to say no to fur to visit Tyler and Shannon's Facebook page to sign up.

APFA is proud to have provided Tyler, Shannon and their community partners with the print materials they’re handing out in their discussions. The cost of designing, printing and shipping these materials is covered entirely by donations from our members and monthly donors.
