The Fur-Bearers is expanding our toolkit to make it easier for you to support our wildlife-saving campaigns, and can now accept donations of securities and mutual funds.

Donating securities provides a charitable receipt (in-kind), but also helps save money for donors because capital gains taxes don’t apply – meaning you can give more!

To learn more about how charitable donations of securities and mutual funds work, check out this video from CanadaHelps.org (where you can also donate your securities and mutual funds to The Fur-Bearers):

To donate securities and mutual funds via CanadaHelps.org to The Fur-Bearers (The Association for the Protection of Fur-Bearing Animals), click here and select ‘Donate Securities’ from the ‘Donate To This Charity’ section. If you’d like to work directly with us, please email info@thefurbearers.com and we’ll provide the necessary forms. You can also learn more about how giving securities and mutual funds work with this great page from CanadaHelps.org.
