Language class raises over $200 with trapped classmate

APFA Fur-Bearer fundraiser
We were happy to see all the big smiles from an Education First (EF) Canada Vancouver class today! They surprised the Fur-Bearer’s office with a donation of $240, raised by ‘trapping’ one of their classmates and collecting funds to ‘free’ him.

Teacher Robert Baker explained that one of the students who has a passion for animals found the APFA website and decided we’d be a worthy cause for a fundraiser.

We can’t thank them enough! Way to go EF Canada and all the great folks in the class who surprised us today!

You can help us educate consumers and protect fur-bearing animals through our #MakeFurHistory and Living With Wildlife campaigns by donating, becoming a monthly donor or signing up as a member today.
