Some of you may remember the plight of Lucky and Lily who were the beaver pair that the city of Ottawa wanted to trap and kill. After great public support the pair were saved. Unfortunately the city then decided to destroy the lodge that this young family lived in. In this sweet video we see Lily and one of her two young kits, Harmony, swimming and enjoying a snack.
If you want to help Lily and her two kits, Hope and Harmony, please send a message to Ottawa’s Mayor, Jim Watson, and let him know that alternatives to removing beavers do exist. jim.watson@ottawa.ca
