Evolving the Living With Wildlife Conference
This webinar will explore how the intentional and unintentional use of sensationalism when reporting on predators (such as wolves, bears, and coyotes) is measurable and has caused serious consequences for policy and the sentient fur-bearers of North America. The presentation will also include tips and conversation for working journalists, advocates, and media consumers.
Michael Howie is a former journalist and managing editor, who won numerous local, provincial and international awards for his work covering crime, politics, and environmental issues.
The event will last for approximately 60 minutes including a question and answer period, and all you need to attend is a computer or Apple mobile device (iPod or iPad). A webcam or microphone is not necessary for participation.
