RCMP wants to kill coyotes for uniform trim

il fullxfull.273353059
The RCMP have recently announced they are looking to buy coyote fur to be used as trim on their uniform parkas. Please help by raising your voice against the use of fur on the RCMP’s uniform.

For many years, our Association has campaigned against the RCMP and their love affair for fur, particularly muskrat fur. In the past, we have met with the RCMP uniform division in person to show them photos and videos of animals suffering in traps. We have also offered to help raise funds to research and test suitable non-animal alternatives for their uniform.

To date, the RCMP continues to ignore our pleas and they continue to waste your tax dollars on cruel and frivolous fur trim.

YOU CAN HELP.

1. Sign our online petition.

2. Contact your Member of Parliament to express your views against fur being used on the RCMP uniform. We also urge you to write to the RCMP directly and the Minister of the Environment, Canada’s Governor General and the Minister of Justice.
