SAVED! Fur-Bearing animals get practical help

For over 20 years, the Critter Care Wildlife Society has specialized in the treatment, care and release of sick, injured and orphaned native mammal species of British Columbia’s Southern and Lower Mainland.

They are also the only facility in BC specializing in the care of mammals and one of only four bear rehab facilities in the province.

So it was an easy decision for The Association for the Protection of Fur-Bearing Animals to team up with Critter Care so we could do even more to help these animals.

This affiliation is a marvelous opportunity for us to take a holistic approach to protecting fur-bearing animals; from influencing legislation, to exposing the dog and cat fur trade, to providing live-saving medication to injured fur-bearers, you’re doing it all.

If you would like to help us in this worthwhile endeavour, there are several wild animals awaiting sponsorship. Your donation will provide food, medicine, shelter and transportation for their ultimate release back into the wild.

The following animals are currently in need of your help.

  • Opossum $35.00
  • Squirrel $35.00
  • Weasels $35.00
  • Skunks $50.00
  • Raccoons $75.00
  • Beavers $75.00
  • Coyotes $75.00
  • River Otters $100.00
  • Black bear cub $250.00
