According to a recent article in the Toronto Star, her collaboration with Adidas marks the first time a fashion designer has created national uniforms for athletes across all 26 Olympic sports. From fencing to field hockey, the goal was to make everyone feel part of one team.
It was a job well done and The Association for the Protection of Fur-Bearing Animals congratulates Stella for bringing home the gold!
Not only is Stella becoming a household name, she has always maintained a strong commitment to the environment and animals.
Quoted by Ecorazzi as saying, “If you’re like me, you’ve sworn off fur because you know about the gruesome ways animals suffer and die for fur fashions. And what about leather? That’s something people don’t think about as much. Anyone who cares about animals or the environment should become informed consumers on this issue.”
From sunglasses to sensational gowns, Stella’s eco-designs can be seen on top celebs including Kate Middleton, Nicole Kidman, Gwyneth Paltrow and Brooklyn Decker.
