The Fur-Bearers will be attending and presenting at Wilderness, Wildlife and Human Interaction: Elements of Ethical Co-Existence on Saturday, November 2, 2019 in Cochrane, Alberta.
The symposium, organized by the Cochrane Ecological Institute, will focus on ‘solutions as we step into the new paradigm’ examining what people can do and are doing to manage landscapes and wildlife under a new vision that protects and enhances landscapes and wildlife.
Speakers will inspire coexistence. They will share methods and actions they are involved in that better enhance our connection to wilderness and wildlife as we shift into a new paradigm. Speakers will touch on society’s psychological and spiritual values, on our culture, science, law, recreation, industry and agriculture.
The Fur-Bearers are thrilled to attend and learn more from colleagues and minds across the country, such as Dr. Gilbert Proulx, Bryce Casavant, Joe Duff, Chatal Stormsong Chagnon, Audrey Lane Cockett, and Clio Smeeton & Ken Weagle.
