Advocacy starts with conversations. Whether it’s around the dinner table, the water cooler, or on the street, change is propelled by individuals who share information. And The Fur-Bearers is proud to help provide the tools that make this possible.
A popular item that we produce and distribute are our #MakeFurHistory flyers. Printed on recycled paper, these flyers provide information about the realities of fur trim and other products – that no matter what tales the fur industry spins, it is inherently inhumane. Our first run of these flyers for the season cost $1,236.48 – and we’ll be doing a second run soon. That means our costs for just these flyers will be $2,472.96 this season.
This Giving Tuesday, please help us recover our costs and make sure we can continue creating these educational documents, as well as other paperless tools like our petitions and targeted emails that can be found on our website. Every gift counts: from $5 per month to a one-time donation of $100.
