Unnatural Enemies documentary wins international prize

Congratulations are in order for Pyramid Productions for their now award-winning documentary, Unnatural Enemies: The War on Wolves. The documentary, which aired in Canada in May 2015, has just received the Humane Society of the United States’ Genesis Award for International TV Documentary!

Covering the ethics of culling Alberta’s wolves, Unnatural Enemies examines the controversial topic of snaring, poisoning and bounty hunting. The documentary talks with scientists, ranchers, animal advocates, hunters and trappers regarding this issue.

The Fur-Bearers provided a free screening of Unnatural Enemies in fall of 2015 to our Vancouver audience. The folks at Pyramid Productions may never know how much this documentary has meant to the wolves, but we can show our appreciation – thank you!
