Planned Giving

We know that you care deeply for the animals.
Leaving a bequest to The Association for the Protection of Fur-Bearing Animals (The Fur-Bearers) is a powerful way to keep your commitment to animals alive for generations to come.No matter the size of your estate, having a will ensures that your personal belongings and assets will go to the loved ones or causes you choose. Without a will, those decisions may be made by the court.
There are many meaningful ways to leave a legacy for the animals.
Some choose to leave a specific dollar amount, while others prefer a percentage of their estate. You might also consider leaving property, RRSPs, or other kinds of gifts. It’s always a good idea to consult your lawyer or accountant to determine the best option for your personal situation. Please note that, due to regulations in British Columbia, we are unable to accept life insurance policies as donations. If you do decide to include The Association for the Protection of Fur-Bearing Animals in your will, we would greatly appreciate hearing from you. This helps us honour your generosity and ensure your wishes are respected.

"As a supporter for more than 30 years, I have a deep passion and deep caring for the animals. This is why I included The Fur-Bearers in my will, it's my legacy to continue this important work and mission. I have peace of mind knowing that when I’m gone, I will continue to help our animals."
