Coyote families want the same things we do – a safe place to raise children, provide healthy meals, and have a happy home. But can we humans and coyotes all get what we want and need to be happy at the same time?
You bet! Co-existence starts with understanding our wild neighbours, and we’re going to help as many people learn to live with coyotes in our next Living With Wildlife webinar: Coyote Families and Co-existence. We’ll be joined by Lesley Sampson, Founding Executive Director of Coyote Watch Canada, who will discuss a range of coyote-related subjects including Eastern Coyote DNA, seasonal influences on coyote behaviour, dynamics of coyote families, and the development of community co-existence programs.
The event will last for approximately 90 minutes including a question and answer period, and all you need to attend is a computer or Apple mobile device (iPod or iPad). A webcam or microphone is not necessary for participation.
