In a recent announcement, HSUS provided evidence that a fur-trimmed coat being sold as ‘faux fur’ was in fact the skin and fur of a raccoon dog from China.
This is not the first time that the HSUS, who monitors many fashion outlets for these advertising untruths and breeches of the American ban on dog and cat fur, has called out Kohl’s.
The organization has set up a form letter – and we fully encourage all of you to use it – demanding that Kohl’s stop selling fur products. And, of course, we are asking that you simply not wear fur – real or fake – and help us evolve Canada into a fur-free nation.
